A United States citizen and,

Are 18 years of age by the date of the next election and,

A resident of your precinct address for 30 days immediately prior to an election.

Voting By Mail

FIRST DAY TO REQUEST A BALLOT BY MAIL IS SEPTEMBER 23, 2010

For voters who prefer not leaving the comfort of home, the Lake County Clerk’s office offers a permanent voting by mail program. Use the fillable enrollment form which can be printed, signed and mailed to us. Enrolling for permanent voting by mail helps our office gauge the number of voters who choose to vote by mail and, therefore, reduce increased printing costs under the new “choice of three” voting methods.
